  1. Hi, I'm sorry if it has already been asked but I've not found a clear answer. I made an mpeg2 with TMPGEnc and burned it with Nero 5.5.2.4, it works, but the display of my Pioneer dv-525 shows "pbc play" instead of the time and i'm not allowed to use the GOTO function (no problems with the FF/RW). I've tried to use VCDImager and cdrwin, i've tried by putting the scandata.dat file with "SCAN_VCD" in the disc, but none worked.
    I also have the same problem with the VCDs I made recently, and I'm sure it's not the player because I have some original VCD and they work.
    Now what I want to ask is: has anybody out there been able to use the GOTO function in VCD/SVCD with the Pio525? and if they did, how?
    I'm not interested in having menu, just plain 1-file discs.

    Thank you in advance.

  2. I've played around with the DV525 for a very long time;
    this player does always support FF/RW,
    but GOTO only seems to work for VCD's but not SVCDs...

    you can have a time display though, by jumping directly to a track in non-PBC mode... (.e.g. press NEXT or 1 instead of PLAY for playback...)
