hey, i have a problem.
when i want to encode a movie with an hard-coded subtitles, i first use Sub2SSA to convert the .srt file to .ssa file,
but here's the problem. After i finish encoding a movie, if the subtitles contained tags like '<i>', '<b>' and so on,
it shows them while watching the movie as a string, and not as italic font.
for example, i see: <i>hello, what's up.</i>
It drives me crazy, really.
something like a year ago, i've saw a tutorial that mentioned that after i convert the .srt file to .ssa file,
i should edit the .ssa file and replace the <i> tags in something else that sub2ssa can read. but i can't find it again,
and i really help i can get help on this one.
tnx alot.
p.s
I'm using TextSub 2.23 as a filter in VDM, if that's any matter.
SOLVED:
ok, i solved the problem, kinda figure out that sub2ssa doesn't understand what's <i> is.
he understand something else as italic tag, and thats: {/i1}
so i just should replace all <i> to {/i1} after i convert the .srt file to .ssa file.
tnx anyway!
