OK, so I'm looking for help with Capture Cards.
I'm no Computer Whizz, so I was hoping someone would be able to guide me in the right direction as to what Capture Card I should purchase and how I'd set one up.
I'd be using an Xbox 360 and a Toshiba Satellite.
If any other info. would help, let me know and I'll give it.

I'd like HD, but it'd probably be easier to just go with SD.
Help for either would be appreciated though. -
For SD you need a usb capture device.
Most use Y splitters (cheap) to split Yellow/Red/White to the TV and capture device.
More tech correct is to use an active splitter called a "distribution amplifier"
At youtube search easycap and Xbox to get detailed directions.
For HD, search Hauppauge HD-PVR and XBox. The laptop would need to be capable of h.264 playback. That means a recent HD video chipset is required.
PS, don't expect to play games from the laptop monitor. The delay is too great.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
