  1. Hello guys, I would ask for help to you.

How do I create a button that shows what DVD Menu option is being selected?

    Thanks for the attention.

  2. All DVD authorings programs have that feature as default during menu creation. To have a button selected while going through menu. You'd have to specifically choose some function in that software to not highlight selected button.
Or you meant something else ,then you could explain some more what you meant.

  3. Translate a menu, after that I can't show that option is being selected. In the original, I can identify why the options change color when selected. After I translated the menu this function was lost. How do I leave equal to the original?

  4. I'm back again. I did a little test trying to find the reason the menu buttons did not work. I took the dvdremake menu and just added some text to the buttons by means of Adobe Photoshop, I used mumax to create the menu. The original dvdremake menu works perfect, but the custom menu does not! I pulled both menus up side by side in dvdremake and compared every aspect of the two and found no difference. I then pulled them both up, side by side in dvdsubedit, I found no difference. I then pulled them up, side by side in pgcedit and still found no difference. I am competely lost as to why one will work and the other does not. I NEED SOME EXPERT ADVICE.

It may help if you stated what program you used to 'translate' the menu.

If a menu does not work then it's likely that you did not recreate the links on the menu back to the content. So you just end up with a plain screen. That is just a guess but we can only guess right now.

  6. The commands work flawlessly. The problem is not knowing that menu option is being selected. In the original, when you take the mouse cursor to the area of the buttons, the color changes and realize that option is being selected. Edited menu that doesn't happen, despite the navigation settings are exactly equal to the original. Take the mouse cursor to the area of the buttons and the color does not change, I can't figure out which episode is being selected. This is a problem!

I used Photoshop to edit the menus.

    To remuxar I used Muxman.

    And DVDRemake to make edits.

You have to set an 'Current Option' attribute for the menu selection as well as a link. Chances are that the 'Current Option' attribute is set but is the same color as the menu text.
