I have just installed vob2mpg so I can access a vob file as mpg to use in Pinnacle Studio 14. I am runnning win7 with an i7, 8 gig ram. I had no trouble installing vob2mpg and apparently no problem converting the vob except the mpg image is elongated vertically - everyone looks tall and skinny whether viewed through Media Centre or Pinnacle. Any suggestions please?

	The file is fine.

 See https://www.videohelp.com/glossary?A#Anamorphic

 You can probably get it to look normal in your editor if you look for settings related to "Aspect ratio".

	Have a look at: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/316540-Problems-with-ratio-from-DVD?highlight=dvdpatcher in particular the use of DVDPatcher SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

	Thanks guys, I used Any Video Converter [free version] and changed the aspect to 16:9.

 {I'm not sure how to finalise this thread though}
