im trying to convert a video without it being squeezed into the actuall resolution
like for example im converting a 4:3 video to widescreen 16:9 and the video kinda get streched and squeezed
what im wondering is how i can convert the video in its original display without it being streched
what i think is that ill actually have to sacrifice some of the footage for it to fit the screen but that doesent concern me =)
if anybody has a software or something that can help me it would be greatly apriciated

4:3 looks like this on a 16:9 display. Otherwise it gets horizontally stretched or vertically cropped or both.

Open it in Virtualdub and use the cropping and resize as necessary.
