SVCD / Nero Questions

Hi there folks:
My system is PIII(1Ghz), 512RAM, Win98SE, Nero 5.5. When creating a SVCD, my understanding is that it creates the following directories:

\EXT
\MPEG2
\SEGMENT
\SVCD

Is the above the standard directory structure for SVCD? Is there any other file that needs to burned on the CD?. When actually creating the SVCD in Nero, is there any other file other than the MPG required?. Also, when I drag the MPG file over to the SCVD pane, I get a message box stating that the MPG file does not comply to the SVCD standard; how do you resolve this?.

Normally not. Unfortunately with Nero it does not create a scandata.dat. This file is needed to FF/FREW and use your goto/search facility correctly. Some standalone DVD Players don't need this file - others do.

If Nero complains that the mpeg stream is non compliant it also tells you how a mpeg should built - and which part of the compliancy test you failed. Do what you did again and see exactly what it didn't like.
