Hi,
I've got some trouble with a MKV file which has a VC-1 stream from a bluray in it. I created it with eac3to.
I'm trying to convert this video file to a dvd compliant format using DVD Flick.
DVD Flick aborts the conversion process quite early and I found the following message in the log:
Error while opening decoder for input stream
Moreover, MeGUI's AviSynth Script Creator hangs and finally crashes, when it tries to open this MKV file.
I'm using Windows 7 x64 and these are the tools I have installed:
- MeGUI
- ffdshow tryouts beta 6 (with VC-1 set to WMV9)
- Haali Media Splitter (tried both 32 and 64bit)
I used the same equipment on Vista x64 for quite a while but there weren't any problems.
Am I missing something here? It looks like that...
Any help will be much appreciated.
Best regards...

Your directshow filters probably aren't connecting, probably an issue with windows media foundation
Try this
