HELP : FFMpegX PSP Audio GAIN not available ? ? ?

Hello All you Video Pros !

I'm looking for some help in converting AVI's and MOV's and MPG's to the PSP h264 codec using FFMPEGX .

The conversion works fine - but the resulting audio levels are VERY VERY LOW - way too low to actually watch on my PSP ? ? ?

I'm using OSX 10.5.6 / and the latest FFMPEGX /

When I go to encode - the AUDIO GAIN feature is disabled and I can't raise the GAIN ?

ANY HELP ?
