I have made several dozen vcd's and just recently there have been 2 movies I have converted to mpeg prior to burning to vcd and after the conversion the sound is scratchy unlike the original avi file in both instances they were from a dvd rip. I tried a few things but the mpegs sound was somewhat distorted and had an anooying scratch to it. I think they may have that av3 or whatever it is called sound I am not familier with the term but have heard of it. Anyway does anyone have an troubleshooting tips on how to convert these files to mpeg without the sound disparity. Thanks BD
