PLEASE give us as MUCH information as possible.

Are you using nerovision and trying to convert to a dvd-video or just burn the video as a data dvd?
In what format have you captured?

Or just try convert to dvd-video using something else like DVD FLick, ConvertXtoDVD, AVStoDVD, etc.

Sort answer for Nero's problem: If you are using Nero's "burn DVD files" Nero needs a 'ready to go' set of DVD files, which I'd be mightly suprised if your TV Wonder capture was able to produce straight away.

Background: In order to burn a DVD with a file of captured VHS footage, two things must have occured after the footage has been captured. The first is that the captured file MUST be in MPEG2 format, and the second is that the footage must be "authored", i.e. converted, into that set of DVD files that Nero will gladly use to burn a TV watchable DVD. Some authoring tools, such as uleads Movie Factory, will do both the MPEG2 convert and author operations (and it'll burn a DVD for you as well).

Most likely the files produced by your capture are AVI files, i.e. not MPEG2 files, though I could be wrong. If you have a Nero tool that will author a DVD, it might be expecting MPEG2 files in which case you'll need a MPEG2 encoder to convert the AVI to MPEG2 (which Nero might have as well). In any event, read the "How To" guides listed on the left to find out all that you need to learn about the conversion you seek. And finally: Good Luck!
