  2. I have the same problem, and more precise I get a fixed length difference in audio, when burning svcd from mpgs with Nero.

My mpg is fine (the audio is in sync on mediaplayer) it only comes out of sync when burned. Why is this and how can I fix it ?

Manually fixing a mpg that looks fine is difficult :-?

  3. I also have a similar problem. I have several SVCD's burned with Nero that work fine when i play them on my PC with PowerDVD, however when i play them on my stand alone player the audio & video are slightly outa sync..

    any ideas what causes this?

  4. I don't think it is NERO thats the problem. Your DVD player probably doesn't like the format of your VCD, XVCD or SVCD. What steps did you use to repair the file.

I know my Sony is pretty damn picky. I just picked up a Daewoo from Sam's (Cheap as hell maybe quality too), but the little bastage plays everything I put in it. Although I have heard they are not the best quality.
