I am having with the menu button selection on disks burned from iDVD 6.0.4. The disks I burn have 6 short films, each of which has it's own button, which can be selected from the menu screen. I have tried the disks in multiple standard DVD players.
On the menu screen, I have to push the up and down arrows on the DVD player remote to select a button that is to the right or left on the screen. If I only click the right button over and over on the remote, only half of the buttons are selectable. It confuses people that I give the DVDs to and they send them back.
I have seen on the apple support forums that some people are having this trouble in iDVD 08 and iDVD 09 too.

My question is that if I import the my movies from iMovie into Toast 10 and use that to burn a DVD, will I be able to select all six of my short films using only the right or left arrows on the DVD remote? Will the button light up in order? Or, might I have the same problem I am having with DVDs burned in iDVD?

I am wondering if I should buy Toast to produce a more professional looking DVD menu that works properly?
