I'm sure it was a few nights ago when I was flipping channels that I saw him on Conan. He was knocking the sham wow guy and saying he had peddled a much better one years before. There was another guy there too and he demoed an old floor sweeper pitch he used to do and Conan threw down a whole box of cereal and they all laughed about it. I changed channel after that.

He was pretty good at pitching stuff. I never bought anything but sometimes watched late at night when there was nothing on tv just to find the hook in the sales pitch.

btw) I get confused about dates because I often record shows and watch them many days or even weeks later so sometimes don't always remember if I've seen it recorded or not.

I hate it the Billy bit the big one. I used to think he was an idiot until I saw the show about him. Well, he was still an idiot but I had a little more respect for him. Funny though, I do actually enjoy a good sales pitch. I grew up going to county fairs and trade shows that had some pretty good pitchmen. I wonder if that was a mid-west thing.

At any rate I had nothing against the guy, he was entertaining most of the time.

And yes it has been a bad week or two to be famous, dropping like flies

Heard something about he had hit his head on a flight & that he felt bad after, then he died & they were going to do an autopsy but then i have not heard on the news or read anything after that......
