Easycap question

I am just wondering if it is at all possible to connect my component cables to my easycap card, I sincerely doubt it, but im not much of a techie so i can't be sure

There are about a million capture devices with "easycap" in the product name. You should specify exactly what card you have. But, if your card doesn't have component inputs you can't connect a component source. There's no such thing as a component to s-video or composite cable. It requires an active device which will cost more than just buying a new capture device with component inputs (like the Hauppauge HD PVR, or the Blackmagic Intensity Pro).
