I have NERO, but I think the quality is not that good, and the video shakes some....I would prefer software that is not too hard to use functionally......IDEAS?????

For real-time video capture, the PV231 is the best card. For software encoding, capture at 704x240, 352x480, or 704x480 in uncompressed (or low compression) AVI. Then use Tmpgenc to resize and encode to VCD. Burn with any program that support VCD creation.
