    Hello,

My TMPGenc always crashes when i choose an .avi file, anyone know what's wrong? Haven't found a solution.
And yes, the Directshow Multimedia File Reader is on the top.

  2. Just a particular AVI or all AVI files?

Try the AVI ODML reader instead.

I would never load an AVI file into TMPGenc, I would have VirtualDub framserve it to TMPEGenc instead.
There are no problems - only chances to excel.

Ok, tried frameserving it into TMPGenc, but my subs won't show up then ._.
As i want to output an XviD with subs, therefore i need the subs to show up.

EDIT: Tried opening another xvid, worked fine, probably problem with the encoding on the other i guess :/
