Hi,
I am really new to ripping dvd files that I want to put on my iPhone, so yesterday I was downloading free software to my iMac, (10.5.7),
and was trying out different software to use and not really reading instructions, just clicking buttons to see what worked.
I clicked "ok" to download additional software called "3ivx" and clicked "ok" on a compatible app to load. Now when I try to rip a dvd of LOST, (I never saw it and trying to catch up with friends) I keep getting this over my files, no matter what software I use, so how do I get rid of this?
Please help, I will really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Gary

	uninstall 3ivx
 Go to control panel then
 Add or Remove programs then
 Remove 3ivx

And dont give me excuses "I've only got a Mac" :HandBag:Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

	This might help: http://forums.3ivx.com/index.php?showtopic=86578

Never bothered with 3ivx on my iBook, so I'm probably not going to be able to help, much. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

Thank you so much, Ai, the forum was very useful and solved my problem. Thank you to everyone for your suggestions!

 Peace,

I don't keep up with Mac based video solutions as I use a PC for that, but the folks at Divx (http://www.divx.com) do have a commercial encoding solution for Mac that's not expensive. By the way, I work with a bunch of Mac fanboys and all I ever hear from them is stuff like "Why don't you just use Handbrake?" (it costs money too) with puzzled looks as to why anyone would want to use anything else.

jman98: Huh? As far as I know, Handbrake has always been free - it's open-source, and has versions available for Macs, Windows and Linux.

I'm not one of the people who recommend it - not that it's bad, I just don't use it. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

I actaully like handbrake....just wish they'd fix the 12bytes problem.
