mkv subtitling

hi
im adding a modrern movie in format of mkv with mkvtoolnix app and dragging the subtitles file
and starting muxing , and when it has finished the new file appear without the sub's
when im playing it.. i have tried with vlc player, media player, and nothing showed up the titles
anyone know why?

What kind of subtitles? srt, sub/idx, etc

And you might have to enable the subs manually in the player. And try also play with mpc-hc and smplayer.

and u where right. the problem is that i didn't enabled it in the player
another question, is there another fast subtitling app same as mkvtoolnix to put sub's in format's of Divx,Xvid? beside virtualdub and avirecomp

You can put switchable subs in avi divx/xvids using avimuxgui. You need vsfilter to decode the subs.

PROBLEM
i've installed avimuxgui,vsfilter
and in the first some it installed subtitles in english and the subs i was choosen was inside heb.
in the second shoot it did nothin' at all
