    I have to install the LAME codec cause when I cropped an .mp3 song, I had to export it, and it wont let me export the edited/cropped song unless I have the LAME audio codec installed. I tried installing it, and I got this:



    Should I install it? Will it ruin my computer?

    It just hasn't been certified by MS. I would just ignore that and install. That's a common problem with newer codecs and files. MS may never get around to certifying it.

    As long as you got the codec from a reputable site, no worries.

    Ok. Thx Redwudz! That's the first time I saw something like that, so I didn't know what to do.
