    just had SKY+HD installed and its great, ive noticed my STB is SAMSUNG , ive since learned they used to use PACE STB's

    which is best?

    also - if i didnt have a SKY subscription at all does the RECORD facility still work?

    i used pace for a short time. i also used samsung but not with SKY.
    i focused mostly od design hehe. new black pace stb looks really nice but OSD is awfull. samsung panel looks worse than pace but
    osd is much better. if you dont care about design than i think this are very simillar stbs.
