  1. Hey, now I look at all the professional movie dvds and the menus are simply outstanding in term of resolution..

    Now I'm on DVDit and I am making real good DVD menus on photoshop/3dsmax etc.

    problem is when I do them lets say 500 dpi, 1600 by 1200 for example, it looks pretty weak on my tv.

    What dimension/resolution do the pros use for their dvd menus? Please if you know, it would be really helpful if you can answer me the questin

    p.s.: when i mean menus, i don't mean the buttons.. but the background pictures.. etc.

    and one more thing, is it possible on DVDit to put animated background for menus?

  2. No, DVDit can't do motion menus/buttons. You need higher end programs for that.

    As for the menus themselves, I was under the impression that these screens were merely 640/720x480 at 72dpi. But I could be wrong. I haven't actually tried bigger screens.

  3. cause i have a 40ish inch tv and it looks pretyt awful compared to what i see in the pro dvds
