    The flv is approx 92 mb and 25 min...need to cut it to a bit less. Help?

    flv is highly compressed and not really editable. basically you need the source and start over, make it shorter then encode to flv.

    Can't it be cut without recompression in VirtualDub with flv input plugin?

    you're quite right. i didn't know avidemux could now do flv. updated mine to 2.4 and it works fine.
