movies in WINAMP file want to convert to a playable DVD disk

I have several movies in WINAMP file format they play on my computer fine. But I want to convert them to go onto a DVD disk to play on my DVD player. Is there any software that will do this? and what do I have to know to make it work?

As I understand WINAMP is just a wiever. It will accept all kind of formats.
DVD is mpeg2, you have to see what your file is encoded as and than use proper converter. There is lots of them in "Tools" on the side of this page.
Use GSpot to see what is format of original file.
