hey everyone, it has been awhile since i have messaged here but i have been meaning to ask you lot to help solve my problem.
basically i am editing on Premiere Pro, and a majority of my footage was filmed on 16:9 thus creating a project based on that aspect ratio, however i have a few shots that where filmed in 4:3 and it is when i would import them into the suite that i would of course get the pillarbox effect on those particular footage, and iw as wondering how do i manage to get it to fill the frame, even by sacrificing the top and bottom to match its counterparts?

You would either "zoom" in and xy pan for best framing or add the 4:3 as an overlay over some kind of background. Maybe a similar defocused 16:9 shot.Originally Posted by Undead SegaRecommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

i would do the zoom, but i would loose resolution within the timeline, also i would not know how much to zoom in exactly fearing i would cut some of the edges by a few pixels.

also i am not understanding how or what u mean by doing the 4:3 as an overlay...
