I have 20 dvds I need to convert to FLV format to host them on my web site.

What is the best program to do so?

In most cases I don't need to edit anything, just click convert and bam......is there a program that simple?

Also in the future, if I do want to add just a title to it, what should I use?

    Thanks for ANY advice!!

    Here's one way:

    1. Copy the DVD's VIDEO_TS folder to your PC's hard drive.
    2. Open that folder and link up all the VOB files into one large VOB using VOBMerge.
    3. Open the single, large VOB file with WinFF and do a one-click conversion to flv.

VOBMerge and WinFF are free and can be found in the Tools section of this website.

Or use vob2mpg instead of vobmerge and convert the mpg to flv.

Or convert to mp4 with h264 video and aac audio using xvid4psp. It is supported by flash. See https://forum.videohelp.com/topic355179.html

Cool, I will try that to...

I just dled AoA dvd ripper, works great - just load the dvd and choose flv and start ripping and it does it on the fly....

So now my next question is, what can I use to just put a title before the movie?

So, what was wrong with ripping the Vobs to the computer HDD with DVD Decryptor in IFO mode with splitting set to "none". That will make one large Vob (mpeg) that you can then convert to whatever you wish. Works for me for Youtube. Best thing for individual episode TV series....

i would advice to rip each movie to one single vob file and then use Avanti to convert it to flv, but in my personal opinion since Flash now supports H264 you "should use it", you can have better quality at same bitrate as FLV.

Convert the VOB to MP4 using the mp4 template and then resave the mp4 with yamb.
I love it when a plan comes together!
