Samsung HT-BD8200 region hack

Hi,

I have tried the region hack listed under the DVD hacks for this player and i can´t get it to work. I must have tried 25-30 times.
Can anybofy confirmed that the have succesfully used the region hack to make this player region free?
My player are bought in Sweden and have region 2, anybofy have an idée how a can get this player region free or what i might doing wrong?

Samsung and Sony players of all types are the most difficult in the world to make region free. If you want a region free player in the future, do not buy those brands.

A very small number of Samsung players have been reported to be able to be made region free. Note that if you are able to unlock this player that it will only be region free for DVD playback. Anyway, sometimes manufacturers change hardware during production and hacks that worked in the past do not work now. We've also had reports for Samsung that a small number of models sold in Australia can be unlocked but the same model sold in other parts of the world cannot be unlocked. Maybe someone will post with a solution that works for your player. Good luck.
