    I'm looking for a Video Editor that simply allows you to open a film (avi or mpeg 1hr +) and visually segment it. Which then saves the segments as playable movie files.

    I've got iMovie etc but am looking for something which isn't all singing all dancing. Ideally cheaper the better.

    and buy the Apple mpeg2 component to edit MPEG2 files in MpegStreamClip (only 20$)
