Im having a hard time connecting to my mac from my windows computer. I can do it the other way around.

I can see my mac in the Network window, but when i click on it, im asked to put in my credentials (picture) but nothing seems to work. i tried my macs logon and even created a user in the mac with full read write access, yet it still doesnt work.

Guest lets me in, but obviously no folders are shown.

    any ideas?

  2. Did you try:
    MACBOOKPRO-AC36\username username on MAC
    Password for username on MAC

Looks to me like your win7 box is trying to authenticate to the username and password on G25DESKTOP not to the username on the MAC (Domain: G25DESKTOP)
tgpo famous MAC commercial, You be the judge?
