Is there any way to do something so that people can not extract subtitle from our DVDs?

Apart from not including subtitles - no.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. -
Burn them into the video? Something I wouldn't recommend, by the way.
Subs are simple to extract from a DVD, and I agree with träskmannen. -
If you use captions instead of subtitles, they could be harder to extract than regular subtitles (but not impossible).

Hardsubbing means that you encode the subtitles in the video, so you will have to re-encode which means that you will lose quality. You will not be able to extract those subtitles by demuxing. There are several programs that can get the text with timings and all by using Optical Character Recognition, for instance SubRip.Originally Posted by hellboundIn the beginning the Universe was created.
