Problem with Easy CD Creator burnt VCD

I was burning a VCD (80 mins) using Roxio ECDC v 5.02d
After 99%, it came up with some error and I escaped it.
Then I tested the VCD using Powerdvd and it worked fine but when I played it on my stand-alone DVD player, it won't play it...Any clues anyone.

Sounds like the disc was overburned, and EZ CD wasn't able to close the disc, try closing it using Nero, a DVD Player will not accept CD's which are not closed.
