    Capturing TV (PAL) via VirtualVCR (and VirtualDUB), for authoring DVDs, I can choose between YUY2 and UYVY. What's the difference between the 2 and which will give better quality?

    The only difference is in the ordering of the Y, U, and V components. They are both 4:2:2 chroma subsampled. Quality will be identical.
