  1. hi newbie here first post im pretty good with making normal vcds with smart rup dvd to avi and tmpge etc now im onto svcd can some one help with these issues!!
    ok can someone tell me the best configartion to make svcd around 90-105 mins fit onto 2 80 min cdrs ? and then i use vcd cutter that woont work for svcd and tmpge stuffs up near the end of cutting svcd is there any tools i can user to cut it into 2 files and then when using nero i choose svcd but only 40 mins will burn and work when i burn any tips on how to put it onto 2 80 min cdrs? thanks guys please dont abuse me or say read guides as im pretty good with normal vcd and im a quick learner! thanks guys!!

  3. Hiya, yep the online bitrate calculator found here in tools works fine and you can get bbMpg here too. Don't forget to figure in the bitrate of your audio. With VCD's you have to use 224kps but you don't with SVCD. I usually use 160 or if a musical 192 to save bitrate for the movie. You can use up to 795 mg for VCD or SVCD on a 80 min 700 mg cd in case you didn't know and I usually figure my bitrate to fill 2 cd's unless it's unusually long. You can set bbMPG to cut the files at size you want while multiplexing.
