im trying to do a tutorial through psdtuts.com when i get to a certain filter my photoshop just crashes every time. it suck big time. im trying to do Filter > Blur > Motion Blur), with an angle of 90 degrees and a distance of 999 for the settings and right after i sen the angle or distance my photoshop just says that it encountered a problem and needs to close. what is the problem and can it be fixed?

Have you tried a slightly smaller blur. The visual difference between 700 and 999 will be minimal under most circumstances.

it does not matter what settings it is at once i change the settings or push ok button it crashes every time on that specific filter.
