    HI

    I have apple quicktime installed. Everytime I hover mouse over any .mov or mp4 file, my system sorts of hangs with cpu activity at 100 %. I play mp4 files thru VLC and then it starts playing.

    This is annoying as I have to wait about a minutes for that hanging episode

    any workaround ?

    From the Start-->Run icon in Windows, enter

    regsvr32 /u "c:\windows\system32\shmedia.dll"
