I am trying to put a VHS video on my PC to convert over to DVD. The VHS tape movie was made in 1971
While I am trying to record, the sound seems to work real good, but the video replays itself after 1/2 second.
I thought mabey macrovision
I have tried running it through a RF converter and still the same thing.
I can watch this video on TV with no problem
I tested several other VHS videos and don't have any problem with them
Any Help Please

What are you using for a video capture card and what software are you using to capture it?

I am using ATI 9600 capture video card
and trying to use the software that came with the video card and also Virtualdub -
I am not to familure with the ATI capyure cards. I started out using Pinnacle Studio with the capyure card that came with the RCA breakout box.
I can't imagine it has much to do with the copy protect of the video... then agin, I am not to sure about your setup. I know that I have never had any issues where the macrovision did any damage to my upload. My pinnacle card acts like a TV, so the macro never picks up.
