Sorry in advance if this is not in the right forum.
I have tried a couple component video switches to connect my 360, PS3 and Wii to my receiver and am having a problem, just curious if an expert here could help...
The problem I'm having is that setting any of the equipment to higher than 480p (and in the case of the Wii, any component setting it seems), give me problems when there is too much white or yellow on the screen (thinking green/sync problem).
Works great on playback and games until there are sequences with alot of white or lots of yellow explosions.
I have tried different switches, different cabling with no luck (same cabling works great straight to the receiver...) The last two I tried were Joyteck, the 360 one and now the 240c.
The switches that I have tried all have signal processing, I guess (they say they do something to check for weak signals), wondering if that logic is messed up? The cables are all very short.
Would an attenuator help? No clue how to get one though, or even if one exists.
Anyone have any ideas? Or a receiver that supports 4 component inputs with at least 3 optical audio?
Thanks in advance and again, apologies if this is the wrong forum.
