I use WinDV for capturing, but when I launch the program the window is off my screen (as if it would be on a second monitor). If I "maximize" it so it is full screen from the task bar it I can see and use it, but otherwise it is off the screen. It used to work fine, and I could have it running in a small window while I did other things, but I don't know how to fix this. Any suggestions?

Open regedit and search for the WinDV position entries. I'm not on my main computer right now or I could give you the exact location. reset the Top and Left entries to 1 and reopen WinDV. It should appear in the upper left corner. "Shut up Wesley!" -- Captain Jean-Luc Picard

Try a right-click on an empty area of the taskbar & select CASCADE. This should move all open windows on-screen & resize them appropriately.

Or try right-click on the taskbar button for the program and use MOVE. Then use the arrow keys to try & get the windows back on-screen.

Thank you gadgetguy, I would have had no idea to look there...never edited a registry in my life. I changed X and Y to 1 and it worked! Thanks, it was driving me nuts. I don't know how it got changed. I attached a screen shot of where it was.

Trevor, thanks for the response, I tried cascading first, but it didn't work.

 Thanks again,
 Ken
