    Hey i need a program that does convertions of media types like from avi. to mpeg 2. Price isn really a issue as long as its good. Any info would be much appreciated, right now im using DVD-it which takes a few hours, around 5.

    CCE is good.. cinemacraft.com i beleive is the home page

    tmpgenc is second.. but the mpeg2 mode is on 30 day trial and as far as i know a pay version isnt available yet.. but dont quote me
    (you can redownload the demo also older versions of tmpgenc dont have the trial .. )
