I've been using graphedit to convert my tivo files to mpg, and this works fine - audio is in sync, quality is ok, etc.

But this process is tedious - drag in the file, delete the default filters, add in the conversion filters, play the graph. Repeat. I've got freakin hundreds of .tivo files to convert.

Is there anyway to pass commands to graphedit to do these steps automagically? Or any other program/process that can automate this conversion?

You might also be interested in tivodecode (http://tivodecode.sourceforge.net/) which does not require any other software and is very well suited to the command line/batch operation. It has no GUI.

Doesn't DirectShow Dump do batches? I know it will monitor directories and auto-convert.

"batch" meaning batch files or command line tools. That is not the same as a GUI tool that does things in "batches". The GUI tools are less powerful and flexible, because they cannot be automated to a sufficient degree.
