    Been googling around looking for a piece of software that will capture both video and audio of a game for example to avi to mpg. In other words, I'd like to capture the output of my videocard and onboard sound system to an avi or mpg stream. Can anyone recommend a good piece of software?

    @redwudz - I tried CamStudio but it seems to choke... the game is being displayed @ 70-80 FPS, but it can only capture 17 fps

    I'll try Fraps now.
