mixing video and still image tracks on SVCD with Nero???

I made a SVCD starting with a couple of video tracks, followed by a couple of still images in Nero. All video clips and stills appear on the Menu still.
The problem is that I can only play the video tracks, but not watch the pictures, on my player (Centrum DVD-C100). Same thing with WinDVD.

Is this a problem with Nero or my players?
