    Hi folks.

I'm in the process of downloading a pretty large (3 gig) bunch of files, which I've just discovered are in .mdvd format - a format I've not encountered before, and which I don't think ffmpegx reads.

My question is what the hell is a .mdvdr, and does anyone know of any mac software which can convert these to a more conventional file format?

If not, I'm guessing I may as well abort the download to avoid being shaped down in the usual first week of my plan.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

As far as I can tell, .MDVDR is just DVD-R (i.e. authored VIDEO_TS folder) related to music (clips/concert).

Why would one go download a file, one doesn't know what it is?
