My burner is sony, my dvdplayer is panasonic. When ever i buy the dvds from the manfacturer, I play it in my dvd player it initializes immediately, where as whenever i reauthor, copy the dis my dvd player always takes long in initailizing almost 40 secs. I have tested on both dvd+r, dvd-r the results are same. I always use branded media and i have tried memorex, verbatim, sony, hp and still the results is always same.
The problem is only initializing after it initialized everything plays as expected.
Software tools tried, dvdshrink, dvdfab decrypter, imgburn, nero.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

My suggestion would be to try the reauthored discs in another player to see if it's not a panasonic issue reading DVDR discs.
