I added the option for subtitles with ffdshow but now when i downloaded .srt subtitles and added them i got two subtitles overlaping. What should i do? I apply the subs to an .avi file and i play it with Media Player Classic

You have 2 subtitle renderers. Either ffdshow + directvobsub, or ffdshow + MPC itself. Disable subtitle rendering in one of them. Or you have a hard subbed AVI + 1 subtitle renderer active. In that case, disable the latter.
