How To convert .flv videos to mpg format

Hi,

Need help .flv videos to mpg format conversion using Mencoder in command line.

I have tried as mentioned below
mencoder C:/convert_temp/CTE.flv -o CTE.mpg -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg2video -oac copy -of mpeg


but video display problem is there and i am getting audio noise problem.

I also tried ffmpeg ,but It gave some problem in audio.

Please help me...

I think you should re-encode audio instead of using copy. mpeg2video needs mp2 or ac3.
