Hello everybody!
I have been using Pinnacle 10 to create and edit my videos. However I have found this application to be really buggy and sluggish at best. So I decided to try Vegas. Vegas seems much more stable and reliable to me, however, I found out that I miss the great palette of video effects that Pinnacle Studio 10 has to offer. In Vegas, there is a very narrow list of effects, and most of them lack the creative and artistic perspective of the Pinnacle 10 effects. As a result, I find myself using Pinnacle instead of Vegas just for the effects provided.
Are there any optional plugins/video fx for Sony Vegas?Or maybe even better, is there a program that combines the stability of Vegas and the wide range of effects that Pinnacle offers?
Thank you in advance for any reply!

And what effects do you want to do?

He might be refering to the fact that studio uses Hollywood effects which can be different than anything found within the vegas effects directory. If there was a Hollywood FX for Vegas, that would make it even more perfect that it already is.

Sorry for the delay guys and thank you for all your replies!
First of all I meant Vegas Pro 7.
The effects I miss on Vegas that are available in Pinnacle Studio 10 to get an idea are:
RTFX Vol1 and Vol2
NewBlue Time Effects
BWP Plugins 1,2,3
Bravo Studio Pack
In Pinnacle I can just apply these effects in seconds.
So I guess there is not something similar for Vegas is it?
Is there another application that offers similar effects? -
