    I am looking for an editing software to edit mpg,mpg2 video. I want to add video footage from one video and stick into another. I also want to cut out parts I don't want. Say I have a movie with deleted scenes and I want to add those into the movie and make it a complete movie with added deleted scenes. What software would be best? Thanks for the help.

    VideoReDo and MPEG-VCR are popular for basic MPEG editing. For a few dollars more, maybe MPEG Video Wizard. It depends on your exact needs, but that sounds like just basic editing.
