    Does anyone know the part number and/or source for a replacement DVD ROM Drive for a Philips PET 1000 Portable DVD Player. Mine (2005 Model) will no longer load DVDs and I really don't want to trash it.

    Maybe we can work something out. I'm in a similar situation though for me the screen cracked. I hate throwing away perfectly good equipment. I can still use my unit as a DVD player for a regular TV, but would love to replace the monitor if possible. If your monitor is in working condition, I'd be interested in purchasing it from you. Might you consider this?
