  1. ive got a avi file film but its got a clock on the bottom how do i cut this off cheers

    I would use virtualdub for this. Keep in mind though that I think you will have to re-encode.

    Open virtualdub, then open your AVI file by going to File > Open Video File:



    Go to Video > Filters:



    Click the Add Button:



    Scroll down and select the Null Transform filter and click OK:




    Click the Cropping button:



    Increase the X1, Y1, X2 and Y2 offsets to suit:





    When satisfied, click OK, and OK again:



    Go to Video > Compression:



    Choose a Video Codec:



    Go to File > Save As AVI:



    All done !

  3. thats a great guide m8 the only problem now its got realy bad audio snyc how do i sort this out cheers andy

    Well, if the truth be told, you wait for it to come out on DVD and buy it then


    .... or you could try searching the forums for audio synch - bound to be 1,000s of hits.
